What is the AI/GCC SIG?
It is a PMI Pune-Deccan India Chapter Special Interest Group focused on AI-enabled project management, GCC transformation, responsible AI, PMO maturity and capability building.
Who should join this SIG?
Project managers, program leaders, PMO professionals, GCC leaders, AI practitioners, digital transformation leaders, academicians, students and volunteers interested in the intersection of AI, delivery and global capability centres.
Is this only for technology professionals?
No. The SIG is intentionally cross-functional. It is relevant for business leaders, delivery leaders, process owners, transformation professionals, HR/talent leaders, risk teams, academic institutions and students.
Will the SIG provide AI training or certifications?
The SIG may conduct awareness sessions, clinics and capability-building programs. Formal certification training, if any, will follow chapter-approved training governance and PMI guidelines.
Is this a vendor promotion platform?
No. The SIG is a knowledge, capability and community platform. Product demonstrations or partner sessions may be curated only when they are educational, relevant and aligned to chapter governance.

What is expected from advisory panel members?
Advisors provide strategic guidance, thought leadership, mentorship and ecosystem advocacy. They are not expected to run events, manage logistics or handle chapter administration.
Can non-members participate?
Non-members may be invited to selected public sessions or as advisors/experts, subject to chapter approval. Continued volunteer participation is expected to align with PMI Pune Chapter membership and VEP onboarding norms.
